Which does appear to offer a decent certificate for free. This is also a major reason people still use self-signed certs.
They don't have to be, anymore, but people still think of them that way. I think the biggest barrier may be the lingering perception that TLS certificates are expensive. I like the idea of more websites becoming secure.īut, what about websites that don't have login forms or any other user input? I believe users on these kind of websites would not benefit from HTTPS in any way, or am I wrong?
